Two individuals abducted in a dawn raid at Mpape, Federal Capital Territory, have been successfully rescued by police forces. Gunmen, numbering approximately six, invaded the area, firing indiscriminately before seizing the victims.
Yakubu, a resident of the area, provided an eyewitness account of the incident. Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, confirmed the kidnapping but stated that prompt action by the police led to the safe recovery of the victims.
Efforts are now underway to apprehend the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
