On March 30, 2017, The Gem International Schools, along Ilaro Road, Owode- Yewa, Ogun State celebrated the International Cultural Day.
The colourful event had pupils adorning different clothes and flags to represent different countries of the world. There were also foods and drinks of various countries.
According to Princess Adekunbi Odubiyi, principal of the school, she said “the International Cultural day event is an avenue for the school to educate the children on the cultural diversities around the world as well as to use the opportunity to add fun to learning process.
The Gem is a co-educational school with day and boarding facilities.
