A 45year-old man, Kayode Adeyanju has been transferred to the Gender Unit of the Lagos State Police Command, after his 14year-old daughter reported at the Ipakodo police division, that her father alleged defiled her.
The teenager alleged that her father, had been having carnal knowledge of her for some time, with a stern warning to her never to tell anyone.
The young lady, however picked up courage, and reportedly stormed the police station demanding to speak with a police woman. When she was granted audience, she opened up on the incestuous act, and a police team stormed her father’s abode at 45 ,Redeemed Church, Tinubu Estate, Ibeshe, Ikorodu to effect his arrest.
After his arrest, the State Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi said, “The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, CP Hakeem Odumosu, has condemned the act and ordered that the case be transferred to the Gender unit for further investigation.”
