John Lyon alias IK- Kpai-kpaia, a suspected kidnapper has been arrested by men of the Nigerian Police Force in Abuja.
The suspected kidnapper was a former staff of Sterling Bank, who allegedly used the name Lyon Interior Hub as a cover-up for his many kidnapping activities.
He claims to be a graduate of the University of Calabar, and there were reports that he was born on22nd of December, 1986.
Known for his flamboyant lifestyles on social media where he flaunts cash and frolick with ladies, he was involved in the kidnap of one Danjuma, a bank staff where he and his men successfully demanded over 50 million naira. He also had N70m in his bank account, according to information gathered.
In a recent video circulating on social media, John was crying and pleading for forgiveness, after confessing his involvemt in two kidnap cases. He begged his victims to forgive him because his wife had just given birth.
The kidnapper, John Lyon is believed to be close to the former Governorship Candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Bayelsa State. In some of his social media posts, he refered to the Bayelsa politician as Daddy.
Although, it has not been proved that he is a relative to the politician ,but he shares the same surname with him.
He trended on Saturday after he was arrested in Abuja, after being traced from Bayelsa state.
