Music star, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido and his partner, Chioma Rowland have lost their three-year-old son, Ifeanyi.
According to reports widely published online, Ifeanyi who turned 3 on October 20, drowned in a swimming pool at the singer’s residence in Banana Island area of Lagos State.
Ifeanyi was reported to have been underwater for a very long time before being spotted and rushed to a hospital in the Lekki area of the state. He was however, confirmed dead on arrival.
The horrific incident happened on Monday night.
Though the Adeleke’s are yet to make any official statement.
Details of the incident are still sketchy but it was gathered that, Nollywood actress, Eniola Badmus made the news spread through a now-deleted post on her social media page.
Also, celebrities like Daddy Freeze, Iyabo Ojo, Comedian AY, Lasisi Elenu, William Uchemba, Paul Okoye and several other have posted cryptic messages on their social media page, which many saw as a confirmation of the news.
Other celebrities have also been sharing condolence messages to console the singer.
