A 14-year-old in Spain carried out a shocking act of violence at a school in Jerez de la Frontera, a city where violent crimes are relatively uncommon. The young perpetrator, whose identity remains undisclosed, allegedly stabbed three teachers and two fellow students during the early hours of the school day.
According to police spokesman Adrian Dominguez, the boy attacked his victims repeatedly shortly after classes had begun. The police apprehended the suspect on the school’s third floor, where they found him in possession of the two knives used in the attacks.
Four of the wounded individuals required hospital treatment, with one teacher facing surgery for an eye injury sustained in the assault, as reported by Patricia del Pozo, the regional government’s education minister.
Witnesses described a terrifying scene, with the assailant first targeting classmates and the teacher with the eye injury before moving to another classroom to continue his rampage. Students recounted how the attacker, in a menacing demeanor, pulled out the knives and threatened to harm everyone before pursuing victims throughout the school, causing panic.
