The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has expressed gratitude to its affiliate unions and members for their support during the two-day warning strike. The NLC President, Comrade Joe Ajaero, stated in a letter that the strike effectively conveyed the message to the government about the hardship caused by petrol subsidy removal.
The NLC is calling for a graceful conclusion to the strike and a return to work while emphasizing that they remain committed to defending Nigerian workers and may consider an indefinite nationwide strike if necessary.
