Dr. Stephen Angbas, the proprietor of Lafia-Angbas Clinic in Nasarawa State, was tragically killed in a late-night attack by unidentified assailants suspected to be armed robbers while he was returning from his farm. The attackers launched vicious machete attacks on Dr. Angbas and his motorcycle rider, Mikailu Dahiru. Dr. Angbas succumbed to his injuries, while Mikailu Dahiru is receiving treatment for severe wounds.
Local government council official Audu Lawal expressed concern, and the council chairman has informed security authorities for immediate intervention. The state’s police spokesperson, DSP Rahman Nansel, confirmed the incident and expressed condolences to the victim’s family.
