Former boxing champion, Mike Tyson, was recorded punching a fellow passenger after the man had reportedly annoyed him.
In the now-viral video, the retired professional boxer is seen landing blows that bloodied the man’s forehead.
The incident occurred around 10:30 PM PT as Tyson joined the flight out of San Francisco International Airport to Florida
Sources report that the victim and his friend had asked the boxer for pictures which he granted but they continued talking to the former fighter as they sat behind him.
The source also claims that when Tyson had enough of the guy behind him talking in his ear, he asked him to chill. And when the guy didn’t, Tyson started to throw several punches at the man’s face.
Soon after the incident, Tyson walked off the flight.
Meanwhile, the victim received medical attention and has spoken to the police.
Tyson and Jetblue’s camp is, however, yet to comment on the incident.
Fondly called Iron Mike, Tyson is a retired American boxer. At 20, he held the title of the youngest heavyweight champion in history. Often regarded as one of the greatest heavyweight boxers of all time, the professional boxer laid down his gloves in 2002.
Tyson has had some trouble with the law and spent three years in jail in 1992 after being convicted for raping 18-year-old Desiree Washington.
