A man named Ifeanyi Ezenwankwo from Nanka community in Anambra State is in police custody for allegedly hurting his wife, Ekwutosi, and burying a newborn baby in a shallow grave. He buried the baby to hide his affair with a 16-year-old girl who gave birth to the child.
Ekwutosi, the wife, reported this when she found her husband burying the baby and was subsequently injured by him. She had warned her husband about his actions before. Ezenwankwo has been arrested, and investigations are underway.
