Detectives attached to the State Criminal Investigations Department (SCID), Lagos command, have arrested Victor Umeh, a 38-year-old man for allegedly beating his girlfriend, Rachael Osu to death in his apartment along Ago-Palace road.
The suspect, is said to be arraigned in court on or before next Friday.
Reports also revealed that after killing his girlfriend, Victor started terrorizing the complainant, Chukwuyenum Osu, who happens to be the deceased elder brother.
It was also revealed that Rachael was confirmed dead after she was taken to a hospital.
Chukwuyenum Osu, the deceased’s elder brother, said he intended to pursue the matter to a logical conclusion to ensure justice for his late sister.
Lagos police spokesman, ASP Olarinde Famous-Cole, confirmed the incident.
