A teenage girl named Barakat Wasiu has been arrested alongside her alleged lovers; 28year-old Eniola Ayodele and Kayode Babashola, aged 31.
The lovers were said to have fought over Barakat, and a peacemaker, Muhammed Obadimeji aged 25, was killed in the process, while trying to separate the fight between two men.
They all lived at Momodu Street, Orile-Agege axis of Dopemu-Lagos.
According to report, one of the rivals named Ayodele, was armed with a sharp object, and allegedly stabbed Obadimeji in the chest in an attempt to stab Babashola.
The impact made Obadimeji to fall down. He was rushed to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja, for medical attention, but he died in the process of being treated.
Obadimeji’s corpse has been deposited at the Yaba General Hospital’s mortuary for autopsy, while the suspects had been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Panti, Yaba, for investigation.
