Nigerian music sensation Kizz Daniel gave an outstanding performance. With his current hit song “Cough” (Odo) during the FIFA Fan Festival at the Qatar 2022 World Cup, the singer dazzled an audience of more than 50,000 on Wednesday night.
The “Buga” crooner performed live with a live band, and some of the best dancers supported him. The audience was heard screaming and calling for the artist to perform more, as they simply could not get enough of him.
Kizz Daniel had written in a tweet a few hours before his performance that his music would bring people together. “I will be live on FIFA stage 7pm Naija time ( 9pm AST ) uniting the world with music and football.”
His song “Buga,” which was released in May 2022, has dominated playlists and radio stations in Nigeria and other countries, giving him enormous international recognition.
The rave-of-the-moment performer from Nigeria, meanwhile, had a lavish welcome in Qatar. No fewer than five foreign performers performed on the main stage of the event as part of the FIFA Sound programme. The shows are an expansion of FIFA Sound, an entertainment strategy created to strengthen the links between music and the beautiful game.
Patoranking is another Nigerian performer scheduled to appear in the ongoing 2022 World Cup.
The competition, which began on November 20, will continue until December 18.
