Angry protesters allegedly killed a policeman identified as Erinfolami Ayodeji in Lagos State.
Also, two other cops are in critical conditions at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Surulere.
According to stories going round, protest against the Special Anti Robbery Squad be(SAS); an arm of the Nigerian Police Force was going on when one of the officers allegedly shot a protester dead, leading to retaliation by the crowd.
The protesters also sacked the Anti-Kidnapping Section of the Lagos State Police Command, this was after policemen from the Area C Command shot dead a protester.
The deceased has been deposited at the mortuary Erinfolami while the police spokesman, Mr. Muyiwa Odejobi said the command would release a statement soon.
