Joseph Ameh, a 39-year-old staff member of Dangote Refinery, lost his life in a hit-and-run accident at Golf Bustop along Lekki Epe Expressway. The driver, unidentified as of now, struck him and fled the scene, leaving Ameh fatally injured. Despite attempts by onlookers, the driver managed to escape.
The police from Elemero Police Station later recovered Ameh’s body, confirming his identity through an ID card. The body has been taken to Epe General Hospital mortuary for autopsy, and an investigation is underway to apprehend the driver responsible for the tragic incident.
