Veteran actress, Sola Awojobi Onayiga, is dead. The gap-toothed actress, popular for playing Ireti in the now-defunct family drama, Fuji House of Commotion, died on Monday. Her death was announced by a renowned movie critic, Husseini Shaibu, via his Twitter page. Nollywood actor, Olanrewaju Omiyinka, aka Baba Ijesha has been sentenced to 16 years imprisonment for defilement by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo of the Lagos State Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court, Ikeja, on Thursday. The judge sentenced him after he was found guilty of four out of six counts brought against him by the Lagos State Government.
