NDLEA operatives at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja arrested a 29-year-old South African named Erasmus Jean-Pierre who attempted to smuggle 2.6 kilograms of methamphetamine in his luggage to the Middle East via an Ethiopian Airlines flight. The illicit drug was found concealed in his bag during a search. Preliminary investigation revealed his journey and acquisition of the drug.
