Troops from 144 Battalion successfully rescued 25 hostages from Boko Haram Terrorists (BHT) in Borno and nearby states. In one operation, 14 hostages were saved from Gobara village, including 6 women and 8 children.
Another operation in Gava Village led to the rescue of 11 civilians. Seven members of a BHT family surrendered to troops in Dikwa. Additionally, troops of 2 Battalion neutralized a criminal and freed four kidnap victims in Kwana Shehu Village, Kaduna State. The rescued individuals are currently undergoing profiling and have been reunited with their families.
