Nigeria’s Keystone Bank Limited has been honored in faraway United States for its efforts at empowering women entrepreneurs through its different banking packages created for them.
The award, the organizers noted is in recognition of Keystone Bank’s leadership role as in expanding access to funds for women entrepreneurs in Nigeria and the rest of Africa where it operates.This feat they further said has brought about unprecedented growth to the business sector and by extension, the nation’s economy and that of Africa.
The lender was conferred with The Global Impact Leadership Award – Best Bank In Women Entrepreneurs Empowerment Category.
Present to receive the award was the Group Managing Director/CEO, Keystone Bank Limited, Mr. Obeahon Ohiwerei, who did not hide his joy at the event.
The ceremony was the Africa Women Forum (AWF) held In New York, US.
