A fresh attack in Madamai village, Kaura council area of Kaduna State by unidentified hoodlums has claimed five lives, while nine houses and a vehicle were torched during the attack.
Kaduna State’s Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, on behalf of the government, condemned the violence and appealed for calm.
“The deceased have been identified as follows: Janet Yakubu, Gambo Yakubu, Jonathan Adamu, Mrs. Monday and Humphrey Barnabas,” he added.
