Newly constructed Pedestrian bridge collapses in Lagos

The newly constructed pedestrian bridge at Five Stars Bus Stop, inward Iyana-Isolo, along Oshodi-Apapa Expressway, area of Lagos, has partly collapsed in the early hours of Thursday. According to an eye-witness, the incident happened in the early hours at about 6.30 am. It took the prompt intervention of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, to save the situation.
