Ilir Meta, former president of Albania and a fierce opponent of Prime Minister Edi Rama, was arrested Monday in Tirana, his political party announced, with media reporting he was suspected of money laundering. Meta was arrested in Tirana by agents of the National Bureau of Investigation, the Freedom Party said in a statement, adding that it had not received an official explanation. Teacher arrested over sexual abuse of student, abortion

A 42-year-old teacher, Gbolahan Osinusi, has been arrested by detectives from the Lagos State Police Command, for allegedly having sexual intercourse with a student for five years since she was 12 years old.
