Nigerians under poverty line rise to 104m — World Bank

About 104 million Nigerians now live below the poverty line. This was contained in a World Bank report which indicated that Nigeria’s poverty level has risen at the backdrop of the recent economic and fiscal reforms. The key reforms include the removal of petrol subsidy and the foreign exchange market rate restructuring. A female tenant has allegedly kidnapped two minors who are children of her landlord and neighbour in the Sango Ota area of Ogun State. The woman was said to have disappeared with the two kids three days after she moved into the apartment. Afeez Fashola, a Nigerian entertainer, also known as Naira Marley, has taken legal action against actress, Iyabo Ojo, alleging the dissemination of false and defamatory content on her Instagram account.
