Edo State Police Command apprehended a 24-year-old University of Port Harcourt final-year student, Victor Ochonogor, on allegations of fatally stabbing his girlfriend, Success Regha. The incident occurred at a residence on Osahon Street, Ogheghe Quarters, Benin City. Both Ochonogor and the deceased engaged in a violent altercation inside the house, resulting in mutual stabbing. Man Remanded for Alleged Assault Incident in Sagamu
Oluwaseun Adebayo was remanded at the Sagamu Correctional Centre for allegedly assaulting and causing bodily harm to Esther Odusanya. He was arraigned before Senior Magistrate Omolara Osanyin on three counts related to the assault. It’s reported that Adebayo beat Esther, causing bodily harm, and pulled off her dreadlocks. The charges against him included unlawful assault and causing discomfort to Esther. Adebayo pleaded not guilty, was granted N200,000 bail, and the case was adjourned until October 27, 2023.
