Ohalete Jogoji, a 73-year-old man, has been arrested for allegedly killing his immediate younger brother, Augustine Jogoji, over a land dispute. The incident happened at Amaraku Junction, in the Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State, where some youths seized the suspect and stripped him naked. A 23-year-old man, Victor Akinwa, has been remanded in prison custody on the order of an Ondo magistrate Court sitting in Akure, Ondo State, for allegedly killing his father, Justus. Victor was arrested for allegedly killing his father with a pestle in November 2021 on Basic Road, Idanre, in the Idanre Local Government Area of the state. The police prosecutor, Mr Obadasa Ajiboye, told the court that the defendant hit his father with a pestle in the head, which resulted in his death.
