Nigeria set to recover $200m Looted funds -Malami

Abubakar Malami SAN, the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, has disclosed that Nigeria would soon make additional recovery of about $200million, being part of public funds looted and stashed outside the country. UNILORIN expels 400-level student for assaulting female lecturer

Waliu Salaudeen, a student of the Department of Microbiology, who was found guilty of assaulting a female lecturer in the same department has been expelled by the management of the University of Ilorin. A statement by the varsity’s Director of Corporate Affairs, Mr Kunle Akogun, stated that the verdict was handed down by the Student Disciplinary Committee after Salaudeen was arraigned on Monday. Five dead, 15 vehicles destroyed in Lagos gas explosion

A gas explosion on Ojekunle Street, off Ladipo Street, in the Mushin area of Lagos State has left five persons dead on Tuesday. No fewer than 15 vehicles were also destroyed by the explosion, which damaged many houses in the area. The workshop where the explosion occurred housed mechanics, panel beaters, gas retailers and other traders.
