Anambra: INEC declares election inconclusive, fixes Nov 9 for supplementary poll in Ihiala

Professor Florence Obi, the Returning Officer of the Anambra State governorship election, has said that a supplementary election will hold in 362 polling units in Ihiala Local Government Area on Tuesday, November 9. Citing the constitution, Prof. Obi noted that election had to take place in those polling units for the election to be conclusive. Man arrested for beating own 2 months old baby to death

The Osun State Government has arrested one Sanjo, 43, for killing his two months old baby. According to the Commissioner for Women, Children and Social Affairs, Barr. Olubukola Olaboopo in a statement issued by the Ministry’s Information Officer, Bolarinwa Adereti, Sanjo had been killing the children birthed by his wife. A suspected drug dealer, Ikenna Okoli, who is believed to be responsible for the recent multiple attempts to export illicit drugs to London, United Kingdom, through the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos State, and other courier companies has been arrested by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency.
