5 killed as hoodlums torched homes, vehicle in Kaduna

A fresh attack in Madamai village, Kaura council area of Kaduna State by unidentified hoodlums has claimed five lives, while nine houses and a vehicle were torched during the attack. Kaduna State’s Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, on behalf of the government, condemned the violence and appealed for calm. “The deceased have been identified as follows: Janet Yakubu, Gambo Yakubu, Jonathan Adamu, Mrs. Monday and Humphrey Barnabas,” he added. Man arrested for trafficking girlfriend to Mali

Officers of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), have arrested an Italy-bound woman, Mrs. Nnadi Nora Chinyere with 100 wraps of heroin in Lagos. She was allegedly caught with 100 wraps of heroin and two parcels of same substance at the departure hall of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, MMIA, Ikeja, Lagos.
