Ekiti State Police command has arrested a 16-year-old girl, Abimbola Suluka alongside her boyfriend, Oluwaseun Olajide for allegedly kidnapping herself to raise the sum of N500,000. The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), ASP Sunday Abutu in a statement issued on Saturday, June 19th, said they were arrested on Thursday in a hotel in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital where they lodged. Dangote truck set ablaze for killing two persons in Ogun

A truck belonging to Dangote cement company was set ablaze by a mob, shortly after it crushed a commercial motorcyclist and a passenger to death along the Ilaro-Ibese Road in Ogun State. In protest, the mob blocked the road and set the truck ablaze while the driver fled the scene, to avoid being lynched.
