Operators, DPR agree to sell petrol for N148.17

In order to check fluctuations in the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), otherwise known as petrol, the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) has signed an agreement with over 27 operators in the downstream sector. Depot facility operators, union leaders of retail outlets and other downstream operators agreed that petrol would be sold at the stipulated ex-depot price of N148.17 per litre. Engineer sentenced to five-years imprisonment for serial rape of sister-in-law

A 50-year-old electrical engineer Preye Ojoko has been sentenced to five years imprisonment by a Bayelsa State High Court sitting in Yenagoa, on Wednesday, for the serial rape of his 17-year-old sister-in-law.
