Former Head of Service inBauchi State, Abdon Dalla Gin has been arrested by men of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over allegations of vote-buying at the ongoing Dass State Constituency bye-election. Dalla, who is also the Special Adviser to Governor Bala Mohammed on Civil Service and Labour Matters, was arrested in his Polling Unit in Dass. International businessman, Chief Harry Ayoade Akande is dead. Akande, who was the Agba Oye of Ibadanland, died after a brief illness in the early hours of Saturday. He died at aged 77. A man who identified himself as Nathaniel Solomon said he saw about four bodies on the ground when he went to pick his brother’s remains at Lekki Tollgate in the aftermath of the shootings by soldiers on October 20.
