Hoodlums in Anambra State have destroyed the statue of Nigeria’s first president Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, erected in the city. The hoodlums are suspected to be some of those who hijacked the #EndSARS protest to wreak havoc. The statute, located at Dennis Memorial Grammar School roundabout in Onitsha, was erected by Governor Willie Obiano to beautify the city. Lekki Shooting: Judicial Panel to sit from Tuesday

Lagos State Government says its Judicial Panel of Inquiry and Restitution for Victims of SARS-related Abuses and Lekki Toll Gate Incident would begin sitting on Tuesday. It also said all suspected hoodlums arrested in connection with the mayhem unleashed on the state after the Lekki shootings would be prosecuted.
