Lagos to prosecute 229 persons over arson, damaging of properties, etc

Lagos State Government says prosecution of suspected hoodlums will commence, as the police had arrested 229 suspects and their case files were being evaluated in preparation for prosecution on charges of arson, murder, stealing, malicious damage of properties and assault, among others. #EndSARS: Protesters destroy Zik’s statue in Anambra

Hoodlums in Anambra State have destroyed the statue of Nigeria’s first president Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, erected in the city. The hoodlums are suspected to be some of those who hijacked the #EndSARS protest to wreak havoc. The statute, located at Dennis Memorial Grammar School roundabout in Onitsha, was erected by Governor Willie Obiano to beautify the city. Lekki Shooting: Judicial Panel to sit from Tuesday

Lagos State Government says its Judicial Panel of Inquiry and Restitution for Victims of SARS-related Abuses and Lekki Toll Gate Incident would begin sitting on Tuesday.
