Covid-19: Nigeria’s cases surpass 40,000 with 555 new infections

COVID-19 cases in Nigeria is now 40,532 with 555 new recorded cases on Sunday. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known via Twitter, noting that 17,374 patients have been discharged upon treatment and recovery from 35 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. 4,000 weddings suspended by Ikoyi registry over COVID-19

The Ministry of Interior, which runs the Ikoyi marriage registry, had ordered the suspension of about 4,000 weddings since March 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
